Hey....need some help from the BBS.... Found a leak this morning in a water pipe in my ceiling (galvanized pipe...old house). I need a handyman who can fix the leak for me and then fix the sheetrock damage. I have a handyman now, but he "fixed" it about a year ago and now it is leaking in the same place, so I figure I maybe should try someone new. Plumbers won't do it because it's galvanized pipe and out of code. Last time it happened, my regular plumber wanted to replace all of the pipe in the attic and make it to code....for a mere three grand! Please help...time is of the essence. Thanks!!
I've got a guy who fixed the exact problem I had you described including fixing the sheetrock. I recommended him to a friend and he took off after getting the deposit without finishing the work. Still want his #?
Call Mike De Los Santos t 713-498-4715. If he can't do it, I can almost guarantee he can recommend someone good. He and his crew did the work on my house and they were outstanding.
These two plumbers I know have plenty of experience and have been doing a good job for the past 20 years. I couldn't find a picture of "HANDY MAN" from In Living Color. Lucky YOU.
RMT- Have you found anyone yet? I need some stuff done around my house, and would love to get a contact if you found one that works for you. Speaking of pipes, I'm in the same situation, except I have no choice BUT to replace the entire house. Anyone else know of an overall handyman/remodeler that does drywall/plumbing/electrical work?
My uncle owns the company. Yes. Yes, but they have plenty of contacts who do other things like plumbing, carpentry, etc. They're like a whole FAMILY, but with HANDYMEN. Their shop is right here (map). You can see them from the freeway (610 west between 225 and 45). Tell Miguel (owner) that his nephew recommended. In exchange you get a great price and I get a THANK YOU.
