I don't get much satisfaction out of rooting for teams other then the Rox, but I do root for some players: the last few years it has been AI and the Sixers. You gotta love Allen: ALL HEART. The best moment in the finals since the Rockets were there was when the Sixers beat LA in game one to end thier so-called playoff sweep, cause man, I hate LA more then the Jazz these days!!! Like I said, I don't really pay too-close attention, but I do love the fire that Iverson brings (unless we meet them in the playoffs).
im a Bucks fan.... only b/c TJ Ford plays for em. they should be a lot more exciting to watch this year... so cheers to that. i also like to watch the cavs.
THE ROCKETS ARE IT.... Through all the lean years and championship years there is only one team for me... sniffle, sniffle... I do hate the Lakers-Mavs-Spurs-or anybody else that plays the Rockets
F any other team than the Rockets. My logic is based on who I hate the most. If Dallas and SA play, I don't root for SA. I root against Dallas.
I have a love/hate relationship with the Spurs. I desperately want to hate them, but I have to admit they're a classy team with good chemistry. (much like the old Rockets) I enjoyed the Pistons run over the last couple of years. I'm interested to see if they can keep it up with out Larry Brown. Back in the day I was a big fan of the George Karl Sonics, despite the poundings they gave us. And for some reason I always liked the Loy Vaught Clips.
Rockets Baby! Spurs & T-wolves are cool in the west Pacers & Steve on the magic in the east (Why did Cat go to the Clippers?????? Nooooooooo!!!!)
I really like Steve Nash and root for him, but i'm not a big suns fan. After the Rox i like the teams in the northeast - NY, Philly, NJ are all teams I'd like to see do well, just not against H-town.
I don't really like other teams that much, but I will cheer for Longhorns - so that means the Hawks, Bucks, Lakers and Kings get some support.

San Antonio is my second favorite team for several reasons... First and foremost, it's a Texas thang... If Houston is out then San Antonio is in... They have very professional organization from top to bottom and carry themselves with class and dignity. They believe in TEAM BALL and play Hellacious D-E-F-E-N-S-E... Which wins you championships.... I think it'll come down to Houston, San Antonio and Pheonix (who only needs a Center) from the West this year...
Rockets will always be on top but a distant second either the nets with a motivated VC or heat and pistons Teams I hate are the SA Spurs and Dallas MAVs. I was so angry they won the ring this year. I hate the spurs with a passion. Next comes Dallas. I can't wait to have a healthy team this season with the addition of swift and watch us slaughter the mavs.
