[boredAtWorkThread] For the summer I'm working at the corporate office of a large oil company in houston, and I'm used to walking into the bathroom and hearing silence, whether there are people there or not. But yesterday I walked in and it was buzzing with activity, with three guys going on about something new going on with the company (while in the stalls, i might add). I was totally weirded out. It just seems like the the guys bathroom is typically just "business." With all the echoes I would find it weird to carry on a conversation in there. I don't know how women can go to the bathroom in such large packs and still have a decent sense of hearing. Thoughts? [/boredAtWorkThread]
Yeah, we have a guy in our building that talks on his phone when he is doing his thing in the stall.. I aslo think it's kinda odd to talk like it's girls night out in the bathroom..
I make it a point to never have conversations with any guys while at the pisser. You just never know how "friendly" guys are. The stall is a different story, though. You're usually there for a few minutes, so striking up a conversation isn't that big of a deal. You may even get a good game of battlesh*ts going. You just have to watch out when talking about other people, though
I hate it when everyone's talking while I try to snort three fat lines in the john. And hot air dryers ... don't get me started!
Never at work, but in highschool, I had a friend who liked to joke around. I mean, I've never had a casual conversation. If I'm talking in the bathroom, it was bathroom humor.
i HATE when people try to listen on my phone conversations while they're pissing. mind your damn business.
When I was coaching, if you tried to "drop off the kids at the pool", you were subject to having the lights turned out and having rolls of tp thrown over the stall at you.
Sorry..."drop off the kids at the pool" means taking a dump...just in case my sarcasm meter is broken.
I know what it means...doesn't sound like you wanted them to take one though. Or was this just locker room fun?
All I ask is this : don't address me when I'm taking a leak... that's not the time I want to talk. Mmmkay?
