LOL! Sorry... couldn't resist. In an effort to produce some sort of scientific correlation between SAT scores, GPA, and salaries, would anyone care to post their earnings? After all, that is one of the reasons we needed to do well on our tests. How about you, Achebe? Give us all something to shoot for, oh ye of the tax-payment-larger-than-our-paychecks. ------------------ "So you say you want some intelligent responses? Currently, I have no real salary. When I did have a salary, it was in the art world...therefore, figure it out yourselves. My wife's X-Mas bonuses wer more than I made in a year -- sometimes se would get a raise that was larger than my salary. Of course, my parents have 5 degrees between them and, last year, we almost made as much as they did, despite my paltry earnings. If I had the same job now, we would be making more. They have been working 30 years...what a crazy world. ------------------ Whitey will pay.
~-$3000/semester ------------------ "...just because a clever person can complicate the discussion about the truth doesn't necessarily mean he or she is making any progress in finding it."
I doubt this means anything since it is just an hourly wage as a part time coop, but I make ~$14/hr at Nortel Networks as a coop. ------------------ "Any event, once it has occurred, can be made to appear inevitable by a competent historian." Lee Simonson
Good company (well, not counting the thousands they just laid off ). What do you do there? Are you in college? Are you interested in telecom or is this just a way to pay the bills? Oh, and it definitely means something. It means you're working for a good company and you may have gotten your foot in the door. Use that access wisely... opportunities like that don't come to many too often in a lifetime. ------------------ "So you say you want some intelligent responses? I bill hourly... until the ****ing god**** ****ing government ****ing process for ****ing bidding on projects gets worked out, I make $0.00 an hour right now. I've been lucky enough before... and trust me it's all luck (combined with who you know and whether or not you actually hit a deliverable due date from time to time), anyway... I've been lucky enough before to bill out $112.50 an hour (45% of my actual bill rate). But travel sucks, so I'm trying to work on product projects (and code ownership of course) right now. ------------------ It only costs $180.00 to have a couple of mullets yell in your ear.
Ok, everybody but Jeff "SaveOurSomething.com" Balke. I'm talking about the rest of us who are forced to sit in front of the computer for hours at a time and surf the Web all day. ------------------ "So you say you want some intelligent responses? While we are at it, could everyone please post their bank account numbers and any PIN number associated with your accounts? Thanks. (Working 7/12's for 5 weeks at a base wage of $24.14 an hour with time and a half for over 40 hours with double time on Sundays plus lunch pay and night differential of $1 an hour...April will be a great, great month for me! ) ------------------ Behad Sergeant at Arms of the Clutch BBS

Didn't DaDakota sell a game to Microsoft? Sheez. All I have to do now is jump another 50 hoops and then I might get a contract w/ the University of Utah. Yippdy friggin' hoo. BTW, contracting isn't for everyone. ------------------ It only costs $180.00 to have a couple of mullets yell in your ear.
