In the April issue of Playstation Magazine ( http://www.psmoline.com ) Sega who recently dropped production of the Sega Dreamcast , Announced they will make their games for Playstation 2 , Which means we could see Sonic the Hedgehog , NBA 2K and NFL 2K , And Virtua Fighter on the PS2 . I think The 2K sports series will really help boost gameplay on the PS2 , Now that the Madden and NBA Live series will now get some stiffer competetion . The Gamers should be the ones who benefit from it . I personally I think NBA 2K was a great game but The Dreamcast Controls are too wierd , While the Playsation Graphics were foggy . Now we could have the best of both worlds . ------------------ http://bbs.babitze.com [This message has been edited by moestavern19 (edited April 10, 2001).]

Does anyone know a release date for X-Box. By the way Sega is also going to make games for X-Box as well. Can't wait to get the X-Box. Metal Gear is going to just rock. ------------------ Titan's fanatic!!!! Counting down the days till January 27, 2002 (Superbowl 36 in New Orleans).
Dream34: An official release date has not yet been confirmed for the Xbox; confirmation will come at E3 (which is about a month away) but I have heard unofficially that Microsoft is targeting November 2001. Unfortunately, some sites have reported that Microsoft is behind schedule....a beta stage XDK (Xbox development kit) has missed its deadline, fueling speculation of a possible Xbox delay into 2002. But Microsoft has vehemently denied these rumors, so I'd regard them with a skeptical eye for now. A delay would not surprise me, though. BTW...we still don't know for sure that a Metal Gear Solid game is even headed to Xbox at all. That's just a rumor, and frankly I'm getting increasingly doubtful of its validity. If there is one, don't expect it for a long time, well after the release of MGS2 on PlayStation 2....Hideo Kojima (the main man behind the entire Metal Gear franchise) is currently working exclusively on MGS2 for the PS2, and probably won't start any more projects until that game is done. moestavern: First of all, that is old news; people who have been keeping tabs on the happenings of the videogame industry have known this for months. Secondly, Sega is developing games for all next-gen systems, not just PS2. That means we'll be seeing Sega games on Xbox and GameCube also. FYI, Microsoft was present at the recent TGS (Tokyo Game Show) where they showed off their Xbox to the Japanese press and audience, and 11 new Sega games for Xbox were announced there. Out of those 11, 7 of those games are unnamed; the other 4 were revealed...they are a new Panzer Dragoon game, Sega GT, Gun Valkyrie, and Jet Grind Radio Future. Many of their games, such as their sports franchises like NFL2K and NBA2K, should appear on all platforms, since there will likely be a respectable target audience for those games, regardless of which system(s) they own. But don't be surprised to see some of their games exclusive to one platform (in this case, "exclusive" will probably mean "an exclusivity period", and after that period those games are free to be ported to other platforms). We'll know for sure which games are going where once E3, a major technology event, hits in mid-May. A lot of things are being kept under wraps until then. ------------------
good news for PS2 owners. They could definently use an influx of good games. ------------------ snap crackle pop
I just got a PS2 and I bought Triple Play and Madden. What are some good games that I could rent? I already rented Bouncers and I think that game sucks.
