Who was the best addition/adjustment in Rockets history?

I think it's definitely T-Mac. Our future Hakeem for years to come!

    Never was. Doesn't Count.

I think Ryan Bowen twice is a masterful stroke

nWo34Life you need to pick a new one cause T-Mac would fall under "Best Rocket's Trade" thread i guess... :D

    TMac came via a trade...not a FA.

I'm drawing a blank but how about Mario Elie?

I hate to say it but didn't we sign Scotty Quitten as a FA?

Edit: All of your poll options came via trades except Marie Elie. :(

Considering Moses took us to the Finals by himself and was a league MVP with us, I would consider Moses as our best signing. However I don't remember if he was a FA at the time.

Moses played in the era before Free Agency. So he doesn't count either.

Here's to hoping it's Stromile Swift. Come to think of it, we haven't had much success with straight free agent signings: Scottie Pippen  , Mo Taylor, Shandon Anderson... who else of note?

There you have it. ;) Not a single person on the list came as a FA then.

Yup. We traded Robert Horry, Sam Cassel plus others. People are still pissed about that one. Although I still feel Barkley was a worthy risk and he played well for us.

I had to check this one. We traded Rodney McCray and Jim Peterson to the Kings for Otis Thorpe.

Wow, that was nice of the Blazers to give us both Elie and Drexler. Good ol' Bob Whitsit. He's like the '90s version of Isiah Thomas.

Does anybody remember that we once signed Alex English to a FA contract only to have it matched? He blew up after that...
