Hey all. I'm needing to find a breakdown of how Bush and Gore spent the public funds alloted to them after their respective conventions. Basically any link that points to how much money the candidates spent on polling, targeting, and the like would be greatly appreciated. Can anyone help me out? -Turbo
With any political campaign, there are specific rules regarding filings. What you'll have to do is find the US government department that handles PAC filings. In Texas, the <a href="http://www.ethics.state.tx.us/">Texas Ethics Commission</a> handles all of those filings. I honestly do not know who handles those filings nationally but they do have to report their expenditures. In Texas, you have to report any contribution or expenditure OVER $50 and you have to give a TOTAL expenditures and contributions amount as well.
