That's one thing I will never understand, it seems like as soon as someone is doing well, people immediately say there is "something they don't like about them". He doesn't cheat, he's not arrogant, he doesn't rub people the wrong way, he doesn't get into trouble off the course, he does everything he can to bring attention to the sport, and he stays in good condition and doesn't hog the spotlight and he's successful. What else can the man do to make people happy? By the way, Tiger took back his comments about his majors being a Grand Slam. He just calls them 4 majors in a row. That right there shows that he respects the history of golf and realized he made a mistake. Unlike other arrogant people like Kobe Bryant who takes pot shots at his on collegues(sp?) (Shaq). ------------------ Meow! [This message has been edited by RocksMillenium (edited April 10, 2001).]
Look, I've never liked the guy. I didn't like him when he was an amateur and came to the golf course by my parent's house and was ARROGANT. amazing as it might be, he was indeed arrogant. For that reason alone, I don't like him. Good lord, am I not allowed to express any opinions without it being racist or whatever? I don't like him. ------------------ Poopy! And, yes, I have a boyfriend. Five papers and counting! wahoo!
No Ali, you never said that so nobody KNEW why you hated the guy. You just came out and said you hated the guy, and people were curious why. Think about it, if I came out one day and said I hated you, even though I never met you, wouldn't you wonder why I hated you? That's all. ------------------ Meow!
I didn't want to say that my parents had met him because last time I said that I have played all these golf courses I got jumped all over for lying. I didn't feel like trying to defend myself. So I just stated my opinion. And ended up having to defend myself. next time I will be more clear. ------------------
