Don't worry, I didn't blow up my hard drive. Anyway, somehow I must have clicked something and now my "home, forward, and history" button are off my desktop. Anyone know what I can do ?

Are you talking about on Internet Explorer? If not, you can ignore the rest of this response. [IMG]

    1) If you accidentally hid the toolbar by using the menu, from the IE menu, select View, then select Toolbars, then make sure the "Standard Buttons" option is checked. If it is checked, then go to 2). If it isn't, then select it and see if that fixes your problem.

    2) You can move those toolbars around by dragging them. What you may have done is accidentally dragged it and hidden most of it so that you can't see it anymomre or don't notice it's there. If you have the toolbar where you type the address of a website, you'll notice on the left-hand side there's a vertical bar. When your mouse cursor is over this bar, it will turn into a "left-right arrow" thingy, so you'll know you're over that bar. Click that bar, keep holding the mouse down, and you can drag it around. If 1) above didn't work, try finding one of these vertical bars somewhere where your toolbars are. You may have accidentally dragged it off to the right and hidden the toolbar you're looking for.

...man, it's so hard trying to tell people what to do without actually being there to show them

standard buttons is definitely checked. You're right, they're definitely to the right, I just cannot click and drag them. If I right click the arrows, it will show the needed icons. I don't even know how this happened. Oh well, I'll figure it out.

Can you see your Back button? It should be the left-most button on the toolbar you're trying to find (i think). If so, find the vertical bar on that toolbar. It should be just slightly to the left of the Back button. Place your mouse cursor over that vertical bar until it turns into the "left-right arrow thingy". When it turns into that left-right arrow, press your left mouse button down, and while holding the mouse button down, drag it over to your left or down. The whole toolbar should magically appear.

...there's gotta be an easier way to reset that stupid toolbar!
