This is a poll. I'm curious to see who drinks coffee at work. Do you guys think that its ok to be dependent on coffee to get you through the day? I used to drink it, but recently quit because i'd get headaches if I didn't drink it, plus I felt like it was "weak" for me to actually depend on a substance to not fall asleep and get work done. I think there is a coffee epidemic in the corporate world.
Why do you think the United States is the only superpower on the planet? It's because we are a coffee culture baby, we are loaded up to the gills in caffiene.
i enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning. it's the cokes or dr. peppers in the afternoon that i'm addicted to.
I don't personally drink coffee, but often I find that I really want drinks such as diet coke. I find it quite hard to not drink it! I've only just noticed, I never really knew before. I remember a guy posting that he gave up smoking because he didn't like such a small object ruling his life. That's a good attitude to have and one I think should be considered. I'm definitely trying to top drinking so much of it, but it just tastes so good! Improving, though. But... to the point ot he thread.... No, I don't drink coffee but that's only because I hate the taste.
I have to agree. I switched to green tea awhile back, on the advice of this pretty chinese girl who brought some from China for me. Now, I find I don't need the caffeine as much. I get some tea in the morning and a cup in the afternoon - - whereas I used to drink coffee all the time, and feel really deprived if I didn't get it. My cardiologist told me later that coffee has some other nasty stuff in it, and I should avoid it and drink - green tea. He said there were other things in coffee besides the caffeine that contributed to heart disease. I saw Matt Furey is promoting the same idea - green tea, no coffee, no sodas - in his newsletters. He also says coffee makes you fat. Don't know, but I feel much better since I made the switch, and I've lost weight.
NO, but I make it for everyone before they get to work because I'm the first one there.. arent I nice??
