DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS MOVIE!!!!!

This has to be one of the most ridiculous movies I have ever seen. I paid $8 for a 2.5hr commerical. There were so many promos that it became a joke. I have never seen so much ad placement in my life. The acting is horrid and it just kept on going. It's a long commerical wrapped in bad acting and crap.

That blonde chick is hot, but this movie was straight bad. Don't waste your money on this movie.

I wasn't sure about this movie, although I was thinking of going and seeing it.

    Sucks about the plugins.

I really hate it when movies have obvious plugins.

I kinda like these types of movies. Of course I also liked Fantastic Four when so many hated it. Different tastes, I guess.

I thought it was entertaining. Non-stop action and stunts which were pretty cool. The product placement was out of this world though. More product placement than action and that's saying a lot.

I'd wait until DVD or a matinee but nonetheless I didn't feel I wasted my money. They needed to show more skin on Scarlett though. After seeing that thread on her wanting to go bottomless I was expecting to see quite a bit of her.

    That's my only disappointment.

Just came home from watching the movie. All my friends hated it, but I thought it was pretty entertaining.

The plot of the movie is excellent, but the execution or rather the direction is just umm....pretty bad.

    Oh yea...the chick is hot!!!

The product tie-ins don't bother me that much. Remember, even Blade Runner has the giant Coke sign.

Don't remember I-Robot all that much, but I was reading somewhere that The Island set the record for plug-ins.

Now that I cooled off a big, I'll admit that the action scenes were pretty sweet, even though they made the couple pretty absolutely unstoppable.

I understand plug-ins, but this movie made it over the top. The worst one was for Michelob Light or Aquifina, I mean, they straight got a close up shot by itself on a counter. And why on earth would that blonde chick be randomly serving Ben and Jerry's Icecream in the middle of the movie?

all that needs to be said about this one is, directed by michael bay. all of his movies are the same. he did both bad boys, the rock armageddon, and now this.... one thing in common? good storyline, good actors, huge budget which should all mean a blockbuster, and they all equal busts.

oh yeah and he's signed on to do the new transformer movie with steven spielberg as the producer.... i dont know of any bad spielberg movies but this could be the first.

I thought I read someplace that this movie "only" collected something like $850,000 for product placement. I thought it might have been higher than that before I read it, and for a movie with such a huge budget (in the $120 million neighborhood), it seems like a fairly small amount to sell out for.

Then again, $850k is $850k. I'd pocket that cash.

While there wasn't necessarily a LOT of product placement, I always thought Demolition Man had the funniest product placement with their concept that in the future, Taco Bell became so popular and dominant that all other restaurants went out of business. I saw the Taco Bell logo in that movie more than I saw Sly Stallone grimace (and lets face it, that dude is grimacing when he is asleep).
