Nomo removed Ken Forsch's name from the record books for the earliest no-hitter ever (Jack Morris as well). I had tickets for the Forsch no-hitter, but elected to go to an important Rocket game at the time (I believe it was the Spurs). My reasoning was that a late season basketball game was more intriguing than an early season baseball game. And while I am at it, I gave my tickets to Mike Scott's no-hitter to my mother-in-law and her mother since my wife and I were going out of town that day. I gave away my tickets to Nolan Ryan's no-hitter because my brother-in-law was getting married. I had the opportunity to get free tickets to Dierker's no-hitter but something else came up that night. ------------------
