Remember how excited the Timberwolves were when they signed olowokandi to MLE? Exactly the same situation, potential, underachiever, athletic, etc.. Do you think the logo is that stupid??

I don't think the logo is stupid. I think you are. What a way to introduce yourself to the forum. You waited a whole year for "Swift=Kandi"? I hope your future posts are going to be better.

Swift has already accomplished more than the Kandi man. His athleticism is unparalleled.

The "stupid" logo offered a $8million/year to Swift last year

The Logo gave Brian Cardinal $35 million.

...do I need to say anymore, or can I just leave it at that?

I wouldn't call someone "stupid" making his first post on the board unless it's truly, truly deserving. I'm glad the Rockets addressed the PF situation, but it's not a sure thing that Swift is going to turn into a monster. I hope he's wrong, and i think there's a good chance T-Mac will light a fire under Swift in a way that playing with no real superstar did in Memphis. But it's not stupid to have reservations about Swift.

    yeah man thats bull****..

    Jerry West..ahahahah!

I don't think anyone is expecting Swift to become an all-star or anything..I just want him to fit well into the system and play well within the system. If he can accomplish that then we should be in great shape. We already have 2 great players we just need to cover the holes and with the Swift signing I think we've taken a step in the right direction

We got Swift for the MLE. Pretty fair value if you ask me.

    These are Olowokandi's numbers
He only scored 12 ppg when he was avg 38 some minutes. I can guarantee that sto will do a little better than that. Come on now!

Kandi was never thought of as athletic. Maybe fairly athletic for a 7 footer, but Swift if primarily known for his athleticism. Something we sorely need.

T-Mac has already said he will make Swift into an All-Star. LOL.

I've got serious questions about Swift but he is better than the Kandiman. He won't be a complete bust, though he may not be what many here expect. For what we paid him it was a good move for the Rockets. If he steps his game up to another level CD will have made masterstroke moves in consecutive summers.

If the Logo is still so great, how come he was POSTERIZED by Bill Simmons in this year's draft diary. A recap.

Jerry West: Hakim Warrick had a great career at Princeton and I think he will oh... Excuse me, Matlock's on.

Bill Simmons: More tapioca Mr. West?

FACE. Besides, do you really think West even cares? He's gone after this year.
