I'm looking to join a competitive fantasy football leage and possibly make some new friends in the process. The guys I usually play with don't ever keep up with their teams after the draft. I'd prefer a money or keeper league, but any will do. Let me know!!
We used to have a competitive, fun league every year here in Houston with a bunch of guys, however several moved away and couldn't do it last year. We typically met somewhere one afternoon had the draft and bar-b-que - it was quite fun. We are looking at possibly starting it up again this year if you are interested, or anyone else for that matter. Just let me know. Hopefully, we can get another group to stay together for a few years - we have had in the past trophy and prize money for winner.

The only downside this year is that our draft is going to have to be on a week night, but it'll still be fun. It's a $130 buy-in with the winner taking in ~$725, unless we go to 16 teams which will increase the winnings for the winner by $400 or so.

I think we have 11 firm, so we need one more for 12. We'd like to get to 16 to raise the pot. If we get that big, we're also going to have a loser's playoff as well. Shoot me an e-mail and I'll get back to you tonight.
