I think there are very good reasons to be both anti-abortion and pro-death penalty. For you to pretend as though anyone who thinks that way is a fool guided only by ulterior motives-- that's not very constructive. If you continue to search only for ostensibly logical constructs you can use to dismiss the beliefs of people you disgree with rather than exploring those beliefs, you're never going to grow as a person. And you're never going to understand one-one hundredth as much as you think you do.
