I mean, seriously, we'll play one game on Sunday, then half the teams open on Monday, and then the remainder on Tuesday. What is that? This opening day in MLB is just stupid to me. I can understand that MLB wants to hold their bananas for a week to make money, but as a fan, this just wreaks. How great would it be to have every team playing on opening day? ESPN and FOX could switch between the all the games and it would be nuts. The ratings would be huge. Instead, we get this trickle in crap. I'm just saying that MLB has the dumbest set of marketing people on the planet. Today could have been like the NCAA first round. Instead, we get dribble. They will make money because of this, but how many fans did they not get because of this slimey scenario. By Saturday teams like Detroit will have been eliminated anyway.
