Hey guys, anyway, power went out a couple weeks ago so I put a candle on the counter in my kitchen. The cat stupidly knocked it over and now there wax on the linoleum. Anyone have any incite into getting it off?
Use something with a dull blade, as not to damage the floor and just scrape it up. Maybe a brillow pad or something like that.
Maybe MR MEOWGI will show up in this thread. He knows a little something about getting wax on and wax off.
Perhaps you could put an ice bag on top of the wax for a few moments in hopes of making the wax more brittle and easier to separate from the floor.
Too bad there isn't some way to reheat it up... Maybe there is. I betcha there is some trick you can do with an iron and a towel or something.
i dont think its such a good idea to put heat to linoleum. I could be wrong but doesn't curling result from heat? My guess is to scrape what you can off with the plastic wedge that people use to smooth out wallpaper. Then buff the rest off.
