Is this what your kids are doing in grad school, or "beers are cool"

Well the story I was told by my Mexican friends that live in McAllen is that Mexicans would use the lime wedges, not for taste, but to keep the flies out of their beer.

The practice was picked up by tourists and brought back to the US. Hence, the college kids thought it was cool to put lime in their beers.

Now this is probably not even true, but it makes for a good line when trying to impress some babe in a bar drinking a Corona.
