Kent may be out with a hammy.

The Chronicle seemed to imply that the Dodgers have been wiped out by injuries and that they are essentially playing all rookies and 2nd year players.

Dare I say that we Astros fans are almost over confident these days?

Screw that, LA sucks. Clemens throws his first no no tonight and strikes out 15. The sweep is on.

Man this game is looking ugly ... too many chances to get a guy from 3rd in during the game that we haven't taken advantage of. With Roger going, we really need to take this one.

This would be a horrible loss. Man the Astros are making D.J. Houlton look like Curt Schilling.

I understood why Lane and Burke played when we were losing but now now that were are winning, why doesn't Palmerio and Lamb play more. They more established and good contact hitters. I know Lamb is struggling but look how he hit last year. Let him come out of his major slump. 1 homer from your starting left fielder is pathetic. Lane seems to swing at every pitch and he sucks at clutch situations. Palmerio has a plan he uses it.

    Your logic is impeccable.

"Now that we're winning... lets play different players."

It never dawned on you that the reason why this team started playing better is that they got some roles defined... had quality bats on the bench... and some decent speed/production in the bottom of the lineup.

You really are the epitome of the whining Astro-fan. Its always a "what have you done for me lately" (ie... this game, or the last game), and god-forbid an ex-farmhand has a decent game against us or else its "stupid drayton... stupid Pupurra" (although it was Gerry that allowed Houlton to be let go).

Well, at least they got Clemens off the hook. What's his run support?

Mike Lamb is the 05 version of Dave Clark. He's done nothing the entire season.

No it wasn't Gerry who let Houlton leave. It was Purpura since he choose who the add to the 40 man roster in November. So Nick, you telling me that your happy with Lane and Burke hitting almost at .220.
