Lather up, wash the whole foot, and between toes, using hands. But first I scrubb with a fluffy bath-thingie on a stick, and when the soap fizzles out, I go the second time with the hands. Use anti-bacterial soap. Damn, some people........
I don't get what the obsession is either. In the past 5 years I think I've painted my toenails 4 times (twice were for weddings cuz the bride said so). I wash my feet (and I get between my toes) every time, but I only clip my nails once in a while. Other than that, I don't care much about anything concerning my feet. I have tons of shoes, but none of them have anything to do with the latest fashion or showing off - they're purely for color coordination. Please tell me you pee in the shower before you actually scrub yourself. Wait don't tell me. I don't want to know. Now how bout y'all's belly buttons or behind the ears? Do you make a conscious effort to scrub them every time you bathe?
Yes I do everyday.. shower before I go to work.. and a bath after I go running or before I go to sleep.. Baths are the best time to get the feet and toes, showers it's too much work.. showers are for the basics of getting clean, baths are like a full detail.. and before anyone gives me crap about taking baths, I have a oxygen problem that causes me bad muscle cramps and half an hour in the tub helps tons..
I'm not a loofah or wash cloth person, I just use soap and scrub with my hands. I wash my feet everyday-ankles, arch, each toe and btwn toes. When I get out of the shower, I get the dead skin off the bottom of each nail (like done at a manicure) and use the nail cutter to clean under each nail. I cut them probably once every 3 weeks. I don't like that my b/f has not so clean toe nails so last wk he let me cut them and make them pretty. I didn't mind since they look a lot better now and he got to watch The Family Guy while I did my thing. It worked out in the end. For those of you that don't regularly wash your feet...you'd be surprised what will come off of them when you actually scrub them one day. I hope you clean your ears. And yes, I have a process for that too. I don't think I'm as bad as drapg on cleanliness, but I'm above average.
If you think so, you've missed out. As for my feet, I hardly bother. It's not laziness; I just don't see the point. They get wet and that's probably enough.
