Kennedy Winston

Im suprised Winston nor Gilchrest did not get drafted. When a guy who was projected to be a late 1st/early 2nd, goes undrafted, it always makes you wonder what other personnel people around the league know about a kid that we may not. But he'll get into somebody's camp.

 

I'm surprised as well especially considering somebody as bad and hopeless as Travis Diener got drafted.

 

Both of these guys are small and fairly unathletic. Head is the same size as SF and Arenas, and probably as athletic. To me Head is very similar to Sam I Am. Both were high school point guards that played some off guard in college. I feel that Head is more athletic than Sam as well. This guy will end up being a good player for us down the road. I would rather have him than Simien simply becuase Simien just cannot stay healthy.

 

Although it would be doubtful that they would bring in another combo guard, Will Bynum (Georgia Tech) always impressed me with his creativity and dribble pentration. I would like to see the Rockets bring him in as a free agent. To where Luther Head is safe (ie not real creative), Will would be be a good disruptor.

 

Word on the UTEP message board is that the Mavs are bringing him in...
