The other day, I watched an episode of "Date My Mom" on MTV. WORST SHOW IVE EVER SEEN 100% scripted, and the concept is horrible......its like they all took acting lessons from Bill Pullman is there a worst show than this on TV right now? All the shows that tried to emulate the success of Nick and Jessica. -Meet the Barkers (you're my boy, Travis, but HO-LY JESUS is your show BORING. GOD!!) -Carmen Electra and Dave Navarro (talk about playing up to the cameras. Sorry guys, yall are not the least bit compelling) All the shows that tried to copy the format of The Apprentice. Too many to name but they are all over the place and totally unoriginal.
Britney & Kevin: Chaotic is so amazingly terrible, it could replace the word "bad" in the dictionary.
There's a show on E! called Totally High. It's totally horrible. Whoever said "that fireman show on FX" is clearly out of their mind. Rescue Me is quite possibly the best drama on television.
It was, thankfully, cancelled, but that show "Life on a Stick" about the high school kids working at a mall food court was so bad it was good. Currently, my two new favorite shows are "Location, Location, Location" and "Homes Under the Hammer" on BBC America. They both come on at Way-Too-Early-On-A-Sunday, but TiVo gets around that. Check 'em out.
Everything on MTV sucks. Every reality show ever invented sucks. Sports Center sucks now a days. Actually, 99% of everything on TV sucks, except for the Law and Orders, Monk, most of the Adult Swim lineup, Malcolm in the Middle, The Simpsons, and most things related to the NBA.
The Bachelor and the Bachelorette - I've never understood the appeal of these shows. I'd rather watch Blind Date. Misc. cop drama. (not including 'Cops') Misc. doctor drama. Misc. Lawyer drama. .. they're all the same. They've re-hashed the same stories and issues for decades. Give it a rest. American Idol - if they're gonna throw fame and money at someone, at least throw it to band of talented musicians, not some clueless teeny wannabe's. Pro wrestling - newsflash: it's all a fake show. The excess of violence, smack-talk, and sex is not appealing. Hit a nerve, did I? Actually, of the shows I listed which are good, four of them aren't fake (Deadliest Catch, Good Eats, MXC, and Distraction). Two of the others are cartoons.
