    Hey guys, good games tonight.

Hey Stack, again, I wasn't trying to start sh** with you. Unfortunately, my first reaction to some things are always worse than I intend. Alot of times, my competiveness gets ahead of my mouth. I HATE losing and/or I HATE playing like crap and so it was a double-edged sword tonight.

This was one of those "I can't do wrong right" type of nights for me. I felt as if I wasn't contributing at all for my team so, when I FINALLY got something positive to go and was called off, I over reacted.

That goes for everyone. I may say some things (though I try hard as hell to never say anything that would be mistaken as talking sh**) in the heat of the battle but don't take it the wrong way cause, once the games end, y'all are still cool with me. And, that goes for my brother as well since he is even worse. LOL!!!

Anyway, again, good games tonight it was fun.

the thing is everyone is so egocentric. it's only natural that we all think we are right. think about all the times we think the Rockets get screwed on calls while the fans for the other team are thinking the same thing. we just have to keep things in perspective and respect calls. still, there will always be arguments. the point is not to let it escalate to anything more.

Not a problem man....i just make the calls if i feel that's what the call should be. Nothing personal etc etc...and i know how it can be to get pissed off if nothing else is going right....didn't take anything persona. and looking forward to the next game.

Did you have that problem before or did you tweak something when we were playing yesterday. You didnt play for long and it just knocked you out real quick.

    Get better quick.

Too bad MJ. That's what it sounded like it was when I was talking to you last night. I get back spasms every so often and the pain goes away in a couple of days, for me anyway. I have known some who have taken a couple of weeks to get back 100%. Believe it or not, I go and shoot around a little to help loosen the muscles up some which seems to help. Or, you can go the safe route and just apply a heating pad to it for about 30-60 minutes every night. The tighter you let those muscles get, the worse they will feel until your are better.

    Good luck.

I've had similar problems before, but it'd never been as bad as last night. I was running on the other side for a couple games with a few others before I got in on that game with you guys though.

    Hey Biggie,

Sorry for not returning your calls. I got your message and unfortunately my work hours have changed. I doubt I would be able to make it to the Monday night games at 6:30 when the season starts. While I like playing with you guys and am intrigued by a how good a consolidated Clutch team could be, I don't think I could be counted on to get to the games on time.

I will continue to check out this thread to see how you guys are doing and hopefully I we can play some ball sometime. Let me know if you guys might need a player for a game or two if needed for league play.

Hey Yao, great hearing from you again.

I think we are now going to enroll in the Monday night league with YMCA in the Galleria. The games start at the end of July and earliest game start times are at 7:30. Not sure if this changes anything for you.

i hope you can too. we can definitely use another big/athletic guy in our lineup since YaoWink will be out. i think you and rockets red glare are our 2 tallest players.

Well the team roster is set. We are going with one team with a current roster of 8. RocketsRedGlare is unable to join us due to on the job issues.

This is how our roster looks.

    Htownfan
    OmegaSupreme
    Stack24
    Biggiestuff
    Macalu
    Kam
    Mogrod
    Mogrod's b**** =)

We do need a bit more size so if we can get one more roster spot for a big man that would be great but this is what we are taking into battle with us.

Season is 8 games and single elimination playoffs if I remember correctly.

Hopefully we play another season after the first one & I can join in. I really wanted to play, but I have recently started a new job & am having trouble getting away in the evenings right now....since there is only one team, when you guys get together to practice I can likey go & be on the practice team until your season gets going.

    I actually like this roster.

From my experience playing/coaching in leagues, there is usually only one team (at most) that has a legit big man so I think our size is fine IMO. Htown has the bulk and is a nice defender. Hell, he blocks me once every Monday. Omega has some height with some long arms and is good at contesting shots. Me and Stack can bring some bulk to the 4 at times.

I think we have some real versatility with this lineup.

    PG: Macalu, Bro, Kam
SG: Stack, Bro, Kam, Macalu, Biggie
    SF: Stack, Mogrod, Biggie, Omega
    PF: Omega, Mogrod, Stack, HTown
    C: HTown, Omega

Not necesarily a depth chart but it shows what position everyone can play and how many different lineups we can throw out there. Everyone is versatile enough to play multiple positions which gives us an edge when trying match and create mismatches. If MJ does play, that gives us one more forward to throw out there who can slash.

My brother is going to be PISSED when he sees what you called him. LOL!!!

thanks for getting everything put together, biggie. yuda schizz.

i agree with mogrod about the teams versatility... a lot of tweeners. pretty much anybody can play any position. i noticed that everybody on the squad can board too. advantage: us

well... i'm down for hoopin any of the following days up until our next practice day if any of you are. mogrod, i know y'all are just up the road. let me know.

    get better, mj.
