Maybe the black, white, and silver layout of the BBS has the Spurs fan confused into thinking this is the super awesomest #1 sports fan site on the internet for Spurs fans. Oh wait, that's right, there IS no such thing. Seriously dude, this is a Rockets BBS, you should expect to get flamed for starting a thread like this. If the Jazz/Mavs/Suns/Nuggets/Sonics won the title and some dude started a thread like this, he'd get the same treatment. And more than likely you'd be right here with us, letting him know how unamused you are. (especially if they beat the Spurs, it seems)
I offer my sincere congratulations to the Spurs and their fans. Tim Duncan is a great player and will probably lead them to at least one more title in the future. Hopefully the Rockets will be hoisting the championship trophy next year (eith Cuttino Mobley as finals MVP). Oh, and that asterisk stuff is BS. If the Rockets had won in 1999, none of y'all would be saying that crap, it is just sour grapes.
I was going to post something nice and complimentary about the Spurs but then I read this and have lost all desire to do so.
This thread is super gay and the thread starter is fantastically rainbow gay for coming over to a Rockets BBS and make it out like its ok to start flamingly gay threads about his beloved gay team. Not that there is anything wrong with that.
The sad thing is I sat by him, FOR CRYING OUT LOUD, at the Smeg thing a couple of years ago when he was known as "mr. oily". It is a good thing that his bandwagon spur lovin' wasn't apparent to me at that time or I would have had to sit somewhere else.
Spurs Celebration Party is on FSSW right now, it's kind of funny. Makes me wonder how some of the guys on our squad would act.....class clown Barry....
