I watched at a friends house near Blanco and Hildebrande....then I had to get home! Geez it was HELL getting home as I live very near downtown (in Southtown). The freeways were like a 20mph street, everyone honking and hanging their children out the window! GO SPURS GO!! Fortunately I got a Jack-in-the-box Cookies and Cream shake to make the drive easier. I finally got home but avoided going downtown on my bike like I said I would to take pics to post here, so screw it.... 3 Time Champs baby!!! WOOO-HOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! (I would have picked Horry as MVP doe...) BTW, did anyone hear the owner of Tacoland was murdered and robbed from all this rowdiness last night?! Sad for the guy as well as everyone that loves going to see bands play at Tacoland....r.i.p.
Saw it at my house on HIGH-DEFINITION! I thought Ginobili should've been MVP. He won games 1 and 2 and helped pull away in game 7. But Duncan had great numbers, so it's ok. That's sad that guy was murdered. That is the one sad thing about championship victories, the riots in the name of celebration that take place afterwards
You know what though? I'm not as hateful of the Spurs as maybe I should be. I still cheered for Elie when he was with the Spurs (except when he'd beat us with a 3), and now that Horry's not a Laker, he's not so bad again. I know that I want to beat the Spurs bad next year, and we will, but if Detroit and Larry Brown, who turned us down flat when we went for him, wins another title, you have to talk about them on the same level as the 94-95 Rockets. That's no good. Maybe I have too many Spurs fans friends in Austin but I'm happy for the folks. We'll get ours again.

More like, during that roudy last night of the finals someone got too desperate and killed the owner of a club and robbed their money. I dont see any celebration in that dude. Cmon RM95 even you and I know that at least 2 people got killed CELEBRATING the Rockets victories along Richmond avenue like a decade ago, remember? Anyhow, this place was a landmark and alot of people would be sad to hear this tragedy.
