Damn, this is just about as difficult as it gets . . . so much good stuff, but my favorite 2Pac album is definitely Makaveli I'm sure I'm leaving out a whole lot of great stuff, but this is at least some of my favorites: Me and My Girlfriend Hold Ya Head Against All Odds Hail Mary Keep Ya Head Up California Love Thugz Mansion Brenda's Got a Baby If I Die 2 Nite Life Goes On F**k All Y'all Loyal To the Game Thugz Mansion Black Cotton
Not a big Pac fan at all. That being said, he has this song called "Pain" that sounds ridiculous on this screw tape I used to have.
Ridiculous as in good? "Pain" is off the "Above the Rim" soundtrack, oddly it is only on the cassette tape version and not the CD or at least it used to be like that.
Ridiculous as in Good. I have the Above the Rim CD and you're right it isn't on there, but the CD must be 11 years old. I have owned a few tapes like that. I used to have N.O.R.E's "Melvin Flynt" tape and CD and there was a track on the tape called "Half Baked" that wasn't on the CD.
all about u hail mary hit em up troublesome 96 ambitionz as a ridah rather be ya ***** life goes on trading war stories baby dont cry how do u want it only god can judge me
I think we can all agree that "All Eyez On Me" and "Makaveli - The 7 Day Theory" are two of the best hip-hop albums of all time.
I think you're probably right. My favorite is Makaveli, and I really love 2Pacalypse Now, but there's no denying that "Me Against the World" is great. Since we've got all the Pac fans in here, what do you all think of "Loyal to the Game"? At first, I was with the folks at freetupac.com , but I've come around. As for the album itself, I wasn't really all that keen on it, but after a few listens, I really like it. It's sort of an album of hits and misses, but let's face it, Pac had some misses on his other albums too. Eminem brings a more up-tempo, harder-hitting feel to the album, and I think that sort of works for 2Pac. I even like the guests on the album (to an extent . . . not a big G-Unit fan). Reviews for the album are sort of mixed, but I think that at least some of the negative reviews are folks who don't like Eminem, and can't look past that to the album itself. I sort of wish Em would've rapped on a few tracks himself, he just does a few of the hooks. Either way, I say 4/5 stars. It's a good album, not great, but worthy of being a 2Pac album.
I have liked a few of his songs since his death but I try to stay away, basically because all the input he had on his songs died along with him so it's basically just his vocals and people making money off of his hard work, anybody doubting that 2Pac worked hard must have never heard about his work ethic. I have liked a few though. I must admit that "Me Against the World" and "The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory" are a couple of the reare albums I can listen to from start to finish.
Off the top of my head. How do you want it Shed so many tears Ambitions of a Ridah Life goes On Hail Mary All Eyes on Me Temptations Troubelsome Dear Momma Toss it Up R U Still Down HellRazor
I smoke a blunt to take the pain out and if I wasn't high probably try to blow my brains out, Lord Knows........... Me Against the World is Pac's finest album. Very introspective. I could (and still can) literally feel the emotions in the lyrics on songs like Lord Knows, Shed So Many Tears, Can You Get Away, F*ck The World, Dear Mama, etc.
