If San Antonio loses tonight, which I think they will, how tough do you think it will be to get tickets for Game 7? I went to the Spurs website, and they say tickets for Game 7 will only go on sale online (not at the box office). It says tickets will go on sale starting at noon tomorrow with prices starting at $17.

If I try to buy some $17 tickets right when they go on sale, do I have a good chance of getting them? Or are most of the tickets already sold to season ticket holders?

P.S. - I'm not a Spurs fan at all. I just think it would be cool to go to a Game 7 Finals game since San Antonio is only a short drive from Austin.

Tickets haven't been sold yet? I know whenever the Nugs (or Avs) have a playoff series they sell tickets to all of the games before the series starts. Then if the game doesn't happen, they just don't charge you for the tickets.

Is this standing room only tickets or something?

They will sell about 1000 tickets, there will be about 100,000 people trying to get them. You will have about a 1% chance of getting any tickets at all , and if you try to get a certain type of ticket you will have no chance. 17.00 tickets are upperdeck behind the basket. I am sure on all of this . Good luck

It doesn't hurt to try, because your right, how bad ass would it be to go to a game 7...I'll be trying myself as I'm in Dallas and the drive isn't that bad...Good Luck...

Good luck. It won't be as easy as the Alamodome days, which had a capacity of 92-trillion, I believe.

Next to impossible. I tried to get tickets for Game 2 earlier in the series... I tried for one ticket anywhere in there with four people trying for me at the second the clock hit 12. Nothing. Those things go amazingly fast... your best bet is to go for one and pray. That's how a few people I know got tickets... no one, that I know of, was able to get two together. Also, if you're just trying for a specific price range, I wouldn't bet on getting tickets... that makes the pool that much smaller.

That said, I wish you luck and hope you get tickets... it's an awesome experience. But asking for more than one ticket and to limit yourself to a specific price range is making the odds (which are already like winning the lotto) that much worse than they already are.

And Nuggets4, the teams here (well, at least the Rockets and Spurs) only sell tickets for games when it's a done deal that the game will be played. But I sort of like the Nugs system... makes it a little easier for more people to get tickets since the demand is split between 3 or 4 different games instead of just two.

There's no way anyone could have gotten tickets! I kept refreshing and when it finally came up I just asked for 1 ticket Best Available and it was already sold out. I bet Ticketmaster employees bought them all before they went on sale and are selling them on eBay as I type...

Oh, and I noticed the screen didn't show up until 12:01pm...that extra minute let all the Ticketmaster employees get their tickets before they went onsale to the public...

PISSED I AM!!!! I called early to sit on hold with an operator and wait until 12. I got through to one with about 12 minutes to go and started asking about events in the SA area. Then she "told me" her system went down and hung up on me. I could not get back in after that.

    Pissed..........
