I got a flyer from Microcenter recently that advertised one for $129. Amazon.com has several listed for around $150. Internal will always be cheaper -- external you have to pay for the same drive, plus a cable, power supply, and case. If you don't have anything against buying online, go to www.staples.com. They have a couple of CD Writers in the $150-$180 range. The HP 9150i and the 9350i may work for you (both are internal drives). When you go to check out, they'll ask you for a coupon code. Use 91213 for that code. You'll get $30 off + free shipping. NOTE : your total purchase has to be $150 or more to get the $30 off. So if you buy the 9150i, it's only $149.98. Buy a couple of pens or something to bring it up $150.
