They had a scene of getting chased in a park area by a gang in Yankees uniforms and they got tired of running and fought their way out of that. Seems like the "Yankee" gang had minature baseball bats. When they (Warriors) finally got back to their home turf, the leader from the rival gang was clinking some soda water bottles together that he had on his fingertips. He was repeating the phrase that you quoted: "come out and plaaaaaaayyyyyyy". I don't recall a baseball bat in the end, but it is possible.
