I thought they should have been a 4 or 5. They have a very tough draw. If they get by Temple, they will most likely face UF. I don't see how Indiana, with a 21-12 record and a loss to Texas can be a 4 seed. I think OSU, Syracuse, and Cincy are a little high myself. Yeah, Texas got the Shaft. Joe Lunardi, the ESPN expert said the Big XII championship winner would get a three seed and the loser a four. Guess he was a little off. I had Texas pegged as a 5 seed heading into the Tournament, I thought with their showing they had assured themselves a 4 seed. But then again, the nitwits on the selection comittee let Georgia into the field so anything was possible. Texas finished the season winning 8 of their last 9 and got to the Big XII Tournament Final. Smokey, that zone scares me too, but they tend to say that every year about Temple. This year, I don't think the Owls have the athletes. But, Texas had alot of trouble earlier in the year shooting over the 2-3 zone, so ya never know. The Horns should have been a 5 seed. I don't think they could honestly claim they had put up one of the 16 best profiles... but they definitely weren't far off. Temple is a paper tiger. They got killed in non-conference, then cleaned up in the A-10 where the athletes aren't quite as good.
