Anyone know where I could find one? It needs to be between 15 and 20 feet, not one of those p***y 10 footers.

I'm trying to cover up my skylights so I can actually sit in my living room in the afternoon without BAKING.

I'm guessing Home Depot or Lowes.

Check out Nation's Rent at Lowe's. Not sure if they rent ladders though.

You can always rent a cherry picker for pretty cheap.

    Ima,

I have a 16 & a 20 foot extension ladder still at my old house in the heights. I plan on moving them out to cypress sometime next week. You are welcome to borrow one once I get them moved.

what part of town are you in?

I also saw a guy who had some chained up in his front yard at the corner of Cheshire and TC Jester with a sign that said extension ladders for sale. Let me know if you want more info or to borrow one of my ladders.

    Voodoo.

Aztec Rentals rents power lifts and other such equipment, though I'm not sure if they have ladders. There are several around town I believe, you might look them up in the phone book and give them a call.

Edit: They do have ladders: http://www.aztecrentalcenters.com/

Two locations, one on 6 South and one on Bissonnett.

Turbo has a pretty tall ladder, and I think he's retired now.

VooDoo, thanks dude. But I ended up just buying one since I have vaulted ceilings and I know this isn't the only time I'm going to need one. I found a 28-foot extension at Lowes for $200. Not bad.

I've GOT to cover these God Damned skylights. I don't know what they were thinking putting these massive things in a house in Houston, Texas. I going to get some reflective insulation and cover them from the inside. I hope this works.
