I believe this Traylor-guy could be quite a nice fit for us. Eventually we will have a fighter in frontcourt. Traylor averaged 5.5 points and a career-high 4.5 rebounds in 74 games as one of the team's most dependable reserves last season by Cavs.

Harris as a backup if we trade Wesley and Sura for only one other player, could make sense.

If there is some other thread about the same thing, excuse me, I couldn't find it.

Traylor's a decent player and he'd probably be relatively cheap. But the new NBA rules favor quickness on both sides of the ball. That's where we need to be focused. Given Yao is not going to get any quicker afoot, we need someone next to him that can provide good weakside help D...someone who can split the difference between the WC PF's with range (Duncan, Dirk, KG, Marion, Troy Murphy, etc.) and whoever is posting Yao or has beaten Yao in a high PnR. Quickness afoot also allows the Rox to matchup better in transition D and create more problems in transition O.

    pass on both, especially Harris.

Traylor was an okay backup pf last season, but the rox need someone to give Juwan a run for the starting job.

this Traylor-guy  wow... how far the might have fallen

as for his averages, you forgot to mention that in addition to averaging 5.5 pts and 4.5 rebounds - "Tractor" averages 1.3 desserts and 6.2 cheeseburgers a night !!! :D

We don't need Tractor "Fats" Traylor. He's a couple of cheeseburgers away from being unfit to play. It's hard to believe he's only about 15 pounds heavier than Spoon.

FYI At RealGM.com they have a rumor that Utah is looking to buy out Raul Lopez contarct. He is injury prone, but if we are looking to get rid of Sura and Westly he could probably replace o of them for cheap and is a pure point guard with starting potential when healthy. ;)

No to Lucious Harris, "Tracktor" Traylor, AND Raul Lopez. We need to see what the draft brings us first. We have until the Trade Deadline in Feb/March to pick up LOSERS like those I list above.

Pass on Harris, shoot for Traylor as a solid back-up. But bring back Falsone to keep Traylor away from Amy's Ice Cream and Krispy Kreme.

If we picked up Traylor, we'd definitely have to unload Spoon. No way the plane it getting off the runway with those two guys aboard.

I would love to pick up Traylor. I have watched him and think he would be a very good role player for us. Cleveland let him go and his contract was dirt cheap.
