At the Home Depot in Humble, he was buying a screwdriver for his daughter's LeapFrog game, on his way to Longview to visit his dad. Sorry no photos, since I don't make a habit of carrying a camera around at work. Also didn't ask any questions, again at work and he was in a hurry, but very nice. Just casual conversation, he also thought they would go much deeper in the playoffs. Driving a plain black Escalade...

Dude that's crazy. I used to work at Zio's right in front of the Home Depot. I couldn't imagine any Rockets living way the hell out here in Humble/Kingwood.

Thats cool to hear. I live in Humble right next to Bush airport, and frequently shop at that same Home Depot across from DeerBrook Mall. I would have never thought to keep my eyes open for rockets players this far from downtown.

Speaking of sightings, Bobby Sura was at Joia last night. The guy has girls crawling all over him.

Man I live right by the Home Depot in Humble - and frequent there. I have NEVER gotten that lucky to see a Rockets or Astros or anyone of that manner. I mean even Phil Garner lives in the area and I never see him.

I hope we can move Wesley. He had a good season- much better than I had expected, but did nothing in the playoffs....He is really old -35 + with a 5 mil + contract- anything we can do would be good, but at his age I bet we will be stuck with him........

Off topic but speaking of sightings, I've spotted George foreman a few times in the Humble area. The first time he was at the Randalls that used to be in Humble buying Lobster, then I spotted him on the side of the road checking out puppies that somebody was selling, and recently about a year ago I spotted him at the same Home depot that we are talking about in this thread. Big George gets around. :D

He is holding a basketball camp at his old high school in Longview as well. One of the Longview TV stations interviewed him at the camp. He said that he would like to play one or two more seasons but his body is getting old and so if he doesn't get an offer then he will retire.
