    Wow, what a game! Looks like Rice is about to come up in the bottom of the 9th, score tied at 6.

    Edit: Nevermind....they are down 7-6 with Tulane still batting in the 9th!

    Tulane wins 9-6 and advances to the College World Series.
    Baylor wins 6-1 and advances to the College World Series.
    Texas still up tonight at 6.

    I think this past year Baylor has earned their spot in the Big 12 ;)

    If Graham didn't have any better relievers than the ones he used then yes, Rice was very lucky to be one win away from the CWS. Tulane was ripe for the choke.

    I shouldn't have taken a rooting interest cause I'm mad :mad: Damn you Rice.

    'Horns pull it off, 6-4. Whew! What a nerve-wracking game! Anyway, props to Texas going to the CWS 4 straight years. I've really been impressed with the way they came back to win the regional in the losers bracket, as well as taking the last two games from Ole Miss to win the Super Regional.

    For sure... another great win by the 'Horns.

    Texas (51-16) will play 4 Baylor (44-22) at 6 on Saturday night
    Those two teams are in the same side of the bracket as 1 Tulane (55-10) & 8 Oregon State (46-10) who play at 1 pm on Saturday.

    Fridays games are Tennessee (46-19) vs. 7 Florida (45-20) at 1 and Arizona State (39-23) vs. 3 Nebraska (56-13) at 6

    3 Big XII teams
    2 SEC teams
    2 PAC-10 teams
    1 C-USA team

    Congratulations to Texas and Baylor... wish we could have joined y'all. Oh well. We went further than we were supposed to this year... but it still hurts. Next year should be interesting.
