I love salads. It's one of my favorite foods but I can't find a place that has a good salad bar or just a really good salad. The Outback has a decent salad (The Queensland salad) but it's like 8 bucks........now that think about it I can't think of any place that has a good salad bar and good food. But if one is out there I would love to know about it. A good salad bar is something that has different kinds of lettuce, multiple kinds of cheese, nice croutons, peppers, oils, everything else and it has to clean. I'm also trying to find good restaurant that serves a really good salad. I'm not talking about a little dinner salad served before the meal but a salad that is the meal. Any suggestions?
It's basically a salad buffet. I've only eaten at one once, and that was seven years ago in Albuquerque. Buck's always good for a nice Simpsons reference.
It has to clean? Wow, you expect a lot from your salad. I agree that salads are better if you have lots of kinds of cheese, good toppings like vegetables that are actually cut up into things small enough to eat in one bite, croutons (that's one reason I don't order too many salads - they're trying to satisfy the low-carb people and they don't come with croutons ), and some bacon or fried chicken strips wouldn't hurt either. You don't want to eat the salad and still feel like you haven't had lunch or dinner yet. I have that problem with some entrees. And, as for salad bars, it would be nice to go to one that had other, non-salad options in case you're with someone who doesn't do the rabbit food thing.
Fogo De Chao has the greatest salad bar I've ever tried. Not too sure, but I think you can just pay for the salad bar.
Why in the hell would you go to Fogo de Chao and get salad? They'll serve you meat until your full! No salad filler for me, thank you.
