Do you have reason to believe any of your 'profilees' are being targeted? Anything sharable? (Thanks for the 'profiles' in any regard.)
For the right price they all sound like nice additions to the roster: Forwards: Swift | Marshall | Andersen | Shareef | Kwame Guards: Spree | Daniels | Kidd | Jay-Will | Artest With Artest being the #1 mystery man, but a notch above the rest as far as potential on the court impact to this Rockets squad.
They all have question marks surrounding them. Rockets really need to address the teams needs wisely as to not cripple the franchise for another couple of years. The next couple of off-seasons will determine the success that this team will have. By signing any of these players, or others long term, if they do not pan out will make it difficult to ship out the players. Currently we are in premium position in that we have quite a few expiring contracts within the next 2 years. I know that Yao and Tmacs contracts will make up most of the salary cap, but whoever we sign MUST complement these players NOW. No use in signing them otherwise.
