Dont know if this is the right forum for this or not..
I am looking for a good quality gif, jpeg, or psd image of the T-Mac logo. Like this one but preferably without any writing and so that it is white on black background.

I tried searching for it but I can only find the image that I have posted above. I am trying to make a custom shirt for a friend of mine and for myself with that logo on it. So I am looking for a good picture. I have no clue how to use photoshop or paintshop pro, otherwise I would just draw it myself.

    Thanks

How are you making the t-shirt? Silkscreen?

    Aeroman10,

You can use T-Mac's name only for non-commercial uses. If you make the shirts, you can only sell them for your cost. Before you prance around in someone else's intellectually property, be sure you know its nature. In other words, I'd check to see whether Tracy McGrady has registered "T-Mac" as a trademark. Even if he hasn't, there are still restrictions on using somebody else's identity for profit purposes.

    Just some free advice...

    ...and good advice.

Ok, so if I just plan to make 2 shirts for myself or for a friend with no intention of selling them I still couldnt use the logo? I wouldnt even put his name on there, just the little logo ;)

I would also gladly buy this shirt if it already exists. I just want a black shirt with just the t-mac logo on the front center ... or a white shirt with the logo in black. I searched but couldnt find such shirt. The closest thing that I found was a sleeveless blue shirt with that image that I posted earlier.

So if anyone knows where I can buy a shirt like I described (legally) please let me know.

I think you can use the logo as long as you don't sell the shirts.

That looks very good. Mind if I use it to try and design a shirt with that?

I'm not a patents and trademarks lawyer, but I do know that you are better off not selling the shirts.

I wasnt gonna sell them. If I would make a shirt I would only make 1 or 2 for myself only.

    Aeroman,
I don't think you should be selling those shirts.

    Thank you,
    Mr. Redundant

If you use a service like cafepress to make the shirt, they might have a problem with selling you a trademarked logo. But maybe not, I really don't know.

I'm not sure this is acceptable. Perhaps not, but I'll throw it out there.

Perhaps the BBS could pay for the cost of creating the T. For the members to get a T, they would have to sign up to the BBS.

Clutch could put his logo on there somewhere and then aeroman gets credit for the design and Clutch has free advertisement.
