Basically it said Antony Falsone, long time Rocket trainer left the organization and Yao has picked him up as his personal trainer. He's running all over Rice Stadium again. Good for him.
according to the report: Falsone quit the Rockets last month and is now Yao's full-time trainer. When Yao goes to China, Falsone will go to China and train Yao there. When Yao returns to the USA, Falsone will return and train Yao here. Yao will continue to get strength and endurance conditioning throughout the offseason, regardless of where he is. Falsone is now able to focus completely on Yao. Falsone said that Yao's conditioning and fatigue will no longer be a factor. He will be spending more time on the court, will have a more physical presence on the court, and will be more aggressive. Schweeeet
Falsone said that Yao's conditioning and fatigue will no longer be a factor. He will be spending more time on the court, will have a more physical presence on the court, and will be more aggressive............... provided he does not have foul trouble
good for yao and falsone but ... can't the rockets organization just hire someone (falsone) work with yao, your huge assesst in developing, exclusively rather than now yao has to hire his own trainer?
I think this is great news. We will be a force to be reckoned with for many years if Yao can develop more stamina and strength this offseason. Please God, don't let there be a lockout...
Of course Falsone won! It was said that Falson fought with another Rox employee in the locker room. He won, but was fired afterward.
Is it possible this "firing" is cover for moving Falsone off the payroll so he can continue to work with Yao during a lockout?
That is what I thought when I first heard the move. We'll know if he patches things up with the Rockets after the season begins.
