Ok after just reading a thread about a trade for J. Kidd with us giving NJ Juwon Howard and Weatherspoon. I have decided I cannot take it anymore. This thread is for all those people that want to post a thread about a trade they have just thought of. Now all trade ideas dont belong here. If you have thought it out, it helps both teams, and works monetarily. Then you dont belong here. But if you came up with something on the crapper and havnt thought about it or done any research on it, then you post your ideas here so you guys can save us the trouble of having to sort through the threads in the GARM on which one is a legit trade idea.
Rasheed Wallace Carlos Delfino Carlos Arroya for Spoon Baker DWesley our #1 pick kitchen sink old pair of sneakers
Tim Duncan Manu Ginoboli Tony Parker for Coke and a smile #1 draft pick (to make it realistic and worth their while)
My challenge from last summer is still open. I want a realGM-o-phile to come up with a 30 way trade involving every team that theoretically works under the cap. Your prize will be determined at a later date.
Samar for Emeka Okafor. Dude, I know it's frustrating, but stupid trade ideas are part of what message boards are about. And frankly, after the past few seasons, we've all seen some crazy, crazy trades go down that boggle the imagination. What we really should be brainstorming, if we care about the quality of threads, are ways to promote topics that are board-worthy. I used to love coming here to read about plays the Rockets run or could run. I also loved Doc Rocket and Oeilpere scoops.

Successful Scenario Due to Houston, Cleveland, San Antonio and Phoenix being over the cap, the 15% trade rule is invoked. Houston, Cleveland, San Antonio and Phoenix had to be no more than 115% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. 2005-2006 Houston Rockets: C Yao PF Duncan SF T-Mac SG LeBron PG Nash
Coming soon to ESPN's "Insider" Web Site: Chad Ford is reporting that a "very good source" has told him the Rockets are working on a blockbuster draft day deal with Miami and Toronto. Ford said the source indicates other teams may also be involved.
I thought it is against the CBA if Dallas is involved in a trade and cuban doesn't throw in 3 mil cash to sweeten the deal?
aelliott- Dallas already owes a 2007 first rounder from their brilliant Dampier sign and trade. They can't trade the 2008 pick. Trade Declined!!
They can't right now, but they can the day after the 2007 draft. TRADE ACCEPTED! You must not be reading all the posts again!
This doesn't work because the Coke doesn't make enough to equal the salaries of Duncan, Moses, and Jesus. Besides, the Rockets give up too much in this trade.
Dallas gets: Yao Ming T-Mac the first round picks for the next three years Houston gets: Erick Dampier (hey this is the 2nd best center) a tour guide for one day in Dallas
