yea, no joke. people like this really tick me off. I have a friend of mine who, every time calvin is brought up (for example his 40 point game seven against the spurs was profiled yesterday on ESPNC) makes slurping noises and obscene comments about young children and the like. i mean WTF!!?? the dude was cleared in the court of law, give it a damn rest! this was one of the best shooters in rockets, nay possibly NBA history - and at 5''9' no less. the fact that people refuse to remember him for what he has given to this organization infuriates me to no end. i mean, damn, i came out of lurk mode to post - thats gotta tell you something. lets try not to smear the name of one of the most colorful and lovable characters in rockets history
I could have sworn that during the season, when Calvin was cleared of his charges, the Rockets released a statement saying "We will re-evaluate our broadcasting situation at the conclusion of the season." I didn't make that up did I? Anybody?
Ummm...I wasn't making reference to the charges and or false allegations. The man had 14 kids by 9 women. There is no denying that. I like Calvin too. But Dude was working overtime on Hoochie Patrol.

Save the drama for your mama. The man said the hard feelings from his children toward him came because of their dysfunctional upbringing. His promiscuous nature caused that to happen. Calvin was a married man. Women who have babies with a married man are pretty much hoochies....
So was OJ, but there are plenty of people who still think he was guilty. Not that I care that much one way or another...but if the guy thinks Calvin is the type to either be on TaxiCab Confessions or Real Sex (which really isn't that much of a stretch and isn't that rude for that matter), who cares?

Same here, I think Calvin is great on TV. But my opinion of him as a person has changed because of the multiple illegitimate kids. The man is paid to do his job though and he does it well. He hasn't done anything criminally wrong so he deserves to keep his gig.
