seeing that the league follows up on most technical fouls, what would the trophy look like and be called (i.e. the larry obrien,the ibm,etc) if they did this yrs from no i'd for sure have to be the rasheed wallace complainer award or smthing like that. but what would it be called if they started it this yr?what old player?
Sorry, a little off-subject, but this thread prompted me to look at the foul stats to see who had the most techs this year (it was Rasheed again; Francis is 3rd). Anyway, while I was looking I saw what a bunch of hackers Seattle's front line is (or is it that they get no respect from the refs? ): Fouls per 48 minutes #1 Danny Fortson 12.1 #2 Jerome James 10.1 #5 Nick Collison 8.7
heh, that's a good one. When Francis was a Rocket, he would get a bunch of techs for slapping the backboard. I hope that's why he's still up there. His rep has taken a hit this year, and even though some of it was deserved, man, he's just in a bad situation with a crappy coach and management. He really had a pissed off year and can see him getting a lot of complaining techs, even though I have no idea if that's what happened this year. Barkley always tried to get strategical techs, to fire up his team, but sometimes he blew an uncontrolled fuse too.
