Best sandwich: Schmaltz's in Waco completely copied by Scholotzsky's...completely. but far better at Schmaltz's.
Preach on Brother.... I don't eat there very often because of the price, but I get the craving for a Large Classic Italian sandwich everynow and then.
That place is decent the first time you go there, but the second time...man that spoiled mayo really gets to ya. Only good thing about the place is that they're open real late and they deliver...things I still have no need for.
That's what happens when coorprate world takes over..they were big but not this booming like 8 years back and everything there was so much better...now they get bigger and bigger and just like other things couldn't care about the end person and just make sure to maximize profits without caring about losing a few customers here and there.
So anyone know where a really good sandwiches in the houston area? Im tired of odl subway and Quiznos is a luxury i cannot afford .
Brown bag deli is pretty good. There is one on the southwest side and they just opened a new one at 290 & Hollister.
some Subway's are offerning like 20ยข off per stamp on unused cards, check your local listings for those participating... Nothing beats an ORIGINAL ANTONES!!!!!!!!!! (not one of the chain antone's either, they suck) Original Antones includes these locations: Bellaire @ Stella Link Rice Village (there's probably another one somewhere, I just don't know where... all others are chain stores and they suck!)
I'm sure there are some other locations, but I know downtown you can go to "Zero's" and get a sandwich, drink, and chips for $3.00. Pugs
