    Sorry, that was rash. I know that China doesn't ban religion, although Falun Gong practitioners often "disappear" or are "jailed" for some activities.

    Officially, China is an atheist nation, but they have plenty of practicing Buddhists, Christians, Muslims, and Taoists. Here is a short summary from the US State Department (related more to Christian practive):
    Sorry, not my intention to further hijack this thread... but I maintain that the previous comments don't relate to anything in this thread.
