Friedel retired earlier in the year, leaving Keller as the main goalie.

Overall we did ok, especially in the second half, but our defense needs some help. In this game and the qualifying game against Mexico our defense made mistakes that led to goals.

I guess we're not going to need to buy a Giggs replacement ths summer, with his success on loan at WBA, and two goals in his England debut, Richardson looks the man for the job.

What the USA soccer team needs is more foreign-born players.

I say USA scouts should go over to Nigeria or Brazil and pick up the best talent they can get, then just grant them citizenship, and BAM what do ya know? We get a world-class team that can compete against Brazil, Germany, Italy, and the likes.:p

The USA seems to lack the ability to put 2 creators on the field at one time.

Donovan is doing a heck of a job creating opportunity but we need a Clint Mathis type to be on the same page as Landon.

We need a young George Best.

    :)

Yeah, Reyna is supposed to miss both qualifiers too.

We were missing 2 of our starting midfielders I believe and Johnson and Beasley too.

Don't forget Pablo Mastroeni. If he's not starting, he's the first choice to replace Reyna in the holding role.
