    Well, I did it again....

so much for my Saturday plans. I'm locked out of my house and will have to wait about 3 more hours till the lease'r comes here to unlock the door for me. I walked over to a neighboring apartment complex and am sitting in their computer lab right now. To make things worse....I think everyone is out of town for Memorial weekend.... so bored.

This is the 2nd or 3rd time this has happened to me this year. we used to have a spare, but it's gone now(who knows where) and my roomates are in Dallas.

    Anways....just felt like...."venting".

my brother once locked himself out when he was sleepwalking. He woke up when he heard the door of his building closing:D.
he called the fireman and they helped him

I locked myself out of my car once, with the engine still running and the a/c on.

My car keys also had my house key attached, and I don't own a cellphone.

So, I took a cab home from Fiesta hoping that the landlord would have a spare house key so I could get in my apartment and get my spare car key, after which I would take a cab back to Fiesta, unlock my door, and slap myself repeatedly.

The landlord wasn't home. So, while leaning against my door waiting for the landlord's car to pull up, I realized I had forgotten to lock my apartment when I left.

There's always something to be said for consistency, even if it's consistent ditziness.

I lock myself out of the house pretty often, last time I did it was just before the Rocket's game 6. I keep a spare key in my tool shed and have the tool shed key hidden outside the house. Saved my butt, so frustrating.

Keep a spare house key and a spare car key in your wallet.

LOL, man Mcgyver was da sheet!

The first time I locked myself out of my house the landlord was in Houston and he had to drive all the way back up to college station to let me in.

Another time I didn't have my cellphone on so I couldn't call the landlord, and I had to sit in my backyard from around 10am till about 3:45 till one of my roomates came home. I don't have any of their numbers memorized since they are in my cell. It sucked, I missed 2 labs and 2 quizes that day.

Thadeus, that totally sucks dude. That sounded like a hell of a day. Too bad this didn't happen to me earlier in the week when people were still in town.

Someone in my dorm locked themself out of their room wearing only a towel. Never assume your roommate will still be there when you get back from the shower.
