AVI to Animated GIF

    Does anyone know of any free sofware that would convert selected AVI frames to animated GIF format? I tried searching and I find alot of programs that would do this but none of them are free.

    JASC's Paint Shop Pro is bundled with Animation Shop. This one allows you to do that.

    hahaha, naw, i showed aeroman yesterday the animated gifs they had posted in the game thread of the Tmac dunk and Yao around the back fake out on Portland :)

    Yeah, those gif's were cool. So I tried to make my own using some clips I got. Still cant get it to work.

    I have AnimationShop7. AS7 doesnt support AVI files so I converted my AVI file to MPG. When trying to import the frames into AS7 it just says Reading filename.mpg and stays that way forever...
