Thread title pretty much says it all. I can eat a lot if I spread it out over a day, but I can't eat that much in one sitting. I think my record is one whole large pizza.

Let's hear those pig out stories...

    Biggest Steak: 32oz
This happened in TN when I was with my family for Spring Break. Yay!!
:( It was the highlight of the trip. They gave me a t-shirt and took a polaroid of me and put it on the wall. If you ever visit the Santa Fe in Nashville, my pic is titled the "Steak Assassin".

    Most Steak: approx. 45oz
My first battle with jaw fatigue. I'm at the Golden Corral in Norman with a couple of buddies seeing who can eat the most steak. We estimated the steaks to be about 6oz. I ate 7 and a half. Then my jaw bit the dust. I couldn't move it anymore. It actually ended in a draw, though I believe I was getting bigger cuts than my counterpart. One of my colleagues only managed to put down one steak and has ever since been known as "6oz"

    Most Food Overall: Unknown
A couple of years ago my mother prepared a sizable roast. Something came up and she left with my father. Family illness or something, I can't remember. I managed to eat the entire roast before she returned. I didn't put the whole roast on a plate and go at it. I ate it bit by bit. I think that was key.

Two of my Fraternity Brother's, Salt Lick BBQ outside of Austin and 5 complete plates of meat with fixings...Salt Lick, for the uninitiated, is an all you can eat joint--the plate are piled high with Brisket, Pork ribs and sasuage.

I should have equipped myself with colostomy bag and honestly felt like I was going to die--I think that one meal shaved a good year and a half off my life span.

    OMG.

My PR was a whole large pizza in High School. Another time I had 22 slices of pizza at a Pizza Buffet, also during high school. The pieces came from a regular pizza and were a touch small, so I am betting that it was just over 2 regular pizzas :s

My record would have to be the 6 egg - Ham and Cheese omllette and 1/2 lb of bacon I ate for breakfast once. Didn't eat for the rest of the day. Actually couldn't do much of anything for the rest of the day. The best part was I didn't break my diet. Man I love Atkins!

When I was younger I used to be able to eat a lot. 5-6 plates at buffets and the best part of it all I would burn it all off pretty quickly. Ah youthful metabolism.

I've got an uncle who can pack away a lot of food. One time he was visiting my mom at the university she teaches at and she took him and my aunt to lunch at the faculty club where they had a buffet.

After about an hour she had to go teach class but they stayed. Three hours later my mom got a call from the faculty club telling her that they were told they had to leave since the club was closed for lunch even though they were still eating.

You ate two of your fraternity brothers?? I think we have a winner! ;)

One time I ate a whole large supreme deep dish pizza from Pizza Hut, a whole order of cinnamon bread sticks, and a 2 liter bottle of Pepsi in one day. I must have been really hungry when I ordered it.

EDIT: Oh, you mean one sitting. Well, I ate the whole large pizza and most of the pepsi in one sitting.

Holy geez. I usually struggle to eat ONE of those things. I guess my record is a whole large pepperoni pizza from Dominos. I did that a couple times in college.

Let's see...I think mine would be my senior year in high school.

My mom treated me and two of my closest friends to dinner at Outback. She just gave me her credit card to go up there and since I was an employee at the time and got a great discount, we went all out. We ordered three appetizers-cheese fries, bloomin' onion, wings-and polished the plates. We all ordered the Alice Springs chicken and polished the plates. We were going to split a chocolate thunder from down under but the waitress brought one for us each and we polished the plates.

I didn't eat the next day.

    3 pancakes
    2 biscuits w/ gray
    hashbrowns w/ ketchup
    2 sausage links
    2 pieces of bacon
    1 piece of ham
3 scrambled eggs w/ cheese on them

    2 glasses of chocolate milk

I worked at a gas station my Dad owned when I was an undergrad. My parents stopped to visit me at work on their way to a crawfish boil. I asked them to pick me up dinner. I asked for two burgers and two fries, which I ate.

About 20 minutes later, my Dad told me to go ahead and close for th night and come have some crawfish. I ate about 15lbs.
