They currently have the Vince Carter IV's on sale at finishline for 79.99 along with a 10 dollar off coupon in-store on the front of the page bringing the shoe down to 69.99. Anyone have these shoes and what are your opinions on them? I've worn VC I and VCIII and I like both very much. How are the IV's compared to them. I currently wear Huarache 2k4's and I love them but would like a 2nd pair to alternate between.
I have them but havent played in them. I think the LeBron IIs just went on sale. I played in the first ones, they were great. I would definately recommend them and wear them again. But if your just looking to save a buck I got a few other shoes on my radar, they are probably a better deal. sLaNd B a L L a can you please email me I have some questions about your workplace. Email is in the sig. Thanks.
Oh yeah and it excludes but it's not limited to all shox. I've used that coupon on my VCIII's before. Maybe just depends on the cashier.
I have tried Kobe I, VCIII, Zoom Flight Turbine.... my favourite pair is actually Zoom Flight Turbine... the VC III is a little too big and heavy.... is the VC IV of same weight and size?
Just about the same weight. That was my biggest complaint too but the VCs offer such good impact protection. I love my huarache 2k4's. VC's were good to me though. I definitely need a shoe with ankle support. Zoom flight didn't have enough for me. I was this close to rolling my ankle. Thank god I fell instead of landing fully on it. I'll take a sore ass over a rolled ankle any day. to compare the vc III is 17oz to the vcIII's 18.5oz and the 2k4's is 14.4oz. Feels like wearing nothing just about .
SIMPLE. If they're comfortable to wear, I will buy them. I like the simple stuff. F*c* Quitter Jordan, F*c* tattoo-ridden Iverson. Anyone have some ETONICS or LA GEARs???
Trust me, I know shoes. I collect Bball Shoes, Jerseys, and other nostalgia as a serious hobby. From everything Ive read I still recommend to you the Air Zoom Lebron II. With all the money Nike has invested into LeBron it's obviously going to be their best basketball shoe. Zoom Air, Light Weight Mesh, Excellent Ankle Support w/ additional removable ankle strap to lock it down. You'll love these and I guarantee it. My AZG Is are blown but I continue to wear them because I know even my brand new Retro Jordans wont come close to these. I have some AZG IIs I want to break out, but Im saving them for indoor play only I play indoor at least twice a week, and outdoor occasionally. My old indoor shoes become outdoor shoes when they get worn down a little. Right now the AZG I are my outdoor shoes. The AZG II will be my indoor shoe starting Sunday.
I sprained my ankle only once (a mild one) with zoon turbine (for about 2 years) compare to 2/3 times with VCIII (in less than a year)
I don't jump that high anyway. No way someone get get their foot underneath mine with my 1.5" vertical . I just like the ankle support when i drive. I feel solid. I've heard a lot of complaints about people rolling their ankles in shox-based shoes but so far I haven't had any problems. *Knock on wood* Damn, the AZG's are 99.99 at the cheapest I could find them .
Try to look for some Huarache 2k4s. They blow anything out of the water...even Lebron IIs. How would I know? The only way: by playing basketball in them.
OH yeah that's what I wear now, but it's hard to find my size now since they are discontinued, except for the all white colorway they have out right now I was just looking at the VCIV's cuz they are pretty cheap now.
currently wear the all black air zoom drives, a very nice and comfy shoe, but still no match to the previous jet flights
when u r most of the time, the shortest player on the court.... u have no choice but to jump higher.... what is the recommended shoes for a short guard? prefer a shoe that is light, good ankle support.....
what about the lebron I's? are these any good?? also any recommendations on some good running or crosstraining shoes??
I like the Adidas Game Day Lightning's ON SALE FOR $49.99. They are INCREDIBILY LIGHT!!! A must see to believe! http://www.footlocker.com/catalog/productdetail.cfm?TID=5555-31230509552131090566513-0&module=home&action=shoeSizeSearch&supercat=other&sku=113742&model_nbr=56459 LeBron Is are great. Highly recommended. For running shoes I recommend Asics GT series, Im not much into cross trainers, but the Nike Zoom Vicks look good.
