I will not address your posts directly because I do not want to say anything that will get me banned, and if I try to address you, I will say things that shouldn't be said.

With respect to you being a racist, I don't know whether you are a racist or not. However I will say that you are about as tolerant as I am white.

One more quick question...are you educated?

Great post about Islam. It's amazing what a few line taken out of place can justify actions both for and against a religion.

Not trying to start another debate, just curious:

Why is it they screamed "Praise Allah" before sending the planes down? Or I might have that confused with the beheadings, either way -- if they were going against the Quran, how could they be so brainwashed into thinking what they were doing was right and they would go on to the after-world?

People use stuff to justify actions. I'm sure a lot of abortion clinic bombers prayed before bombing the clinics. One of the things to fuel anti-semtisim in WWII Nazi Germany was that the Jews killed jesus. Then ofcourse the communist in Russia and Asia blamed capitalists for everything when to gained powers initially and used any past actins to judstify a lot of atrocities. The red scare and McCarthism also used a ton of anti-communism scare to blacklist a lot of people that had did nothing wrong.

People will use a lot of stuff to justify the action, and it's easy as heck to get people believing in it. Not gonna start a debate about the current Iraqi situation, but when the orginal conflict started, people bought into it fairly quickly without asking a lot of questions. 9/11 changed everything in U.S.A for a lot of people, and that's understandable. But all I can say is to realise that the U.S. led western precense and past actions had a severe impact on a lot of middle eastern nation as well.

even movies such as Executive Desicion will give you that answer. Some people are just twisted, they want a reason to justify their deeds, and the easiest one is religion.
because just like NJ and others, they take one verse in the quran, dont read the context and use it to justify their needs.

Many muslims take the one verse in the quran that says dont drink and come to prayer as a proof that muslims can drink alcohol, when it is mentioned otherwise in the quran.

Even if these people are literate, they are unaware of what they are reading. I hope you understand what im trying to say.

so now you say you only despise "muslim extremists"

....buddy.. by you saying that you want to use the quran as a toilet paper means you hate ALL muslims...not only the "muslim extremists".... stick to your view you hold and let it out...don't need to cover it up....

Judging by his posts, I seriously doubt it. Educated ones do not throw out random insults just because opinions differ. Generally speaking education enlightens a person, enabling them to think critically with use of logic. NJrocket seems to be lacking this skill.

When the crusaders used to go on their rampages, even when they were sacking Constantinople which they were tasked to defend, they screamed "Deus vult!" (God wills it!).

How can you ask a group of non-muslim Americans to embrace a religion that had millions of its followers *celebrate* 9-11? Even if this celebration was against the code of islam, don't you think something institutional is astray with the religion when literally millions of people are celebrating the death of thousands of Americans? Don't you think something insitutional is astray when imams and clerics are advocating violence?

You do not have to embrace the religion, but you can certainly be respectful.

please show me proof that ONE MILLION muslims celebrated 9-11

    thank you.
It wasnt just Americans, there were muslims in the WTC, there were non americans, there were freaking kids if im not mistaken. If anyone celebrated knowing these facts, then something is wrong with them psychologically. And obviously they have no idea as to what the effect of 9-11 was.

Don't you think something institutional is astray when presidents and vice presidents are advocating violence?

Of course far more imams and clerics are advocating peace, but you conveniently ignore those. You choose to highlight the bad few rather than devout millions. This type of attitude is why CAIR probably hoped people reading the Koran would enlighten them a little.

Adeel - nice convenient explanation of those verses in the quran. You say I take one verse and justify it to my needs.....you did the same a couple of pages back.

To the brain surgeon who asked if I am educated....yes. Nice irrelevant question.

Every friggin muslim extremist lives by the quran.....are they twisting the verses to suit them as well?

maybe not 1 million...but a city full of them were dancing in the streets on national TV

    welcome

I never claimed to be a brain surgeon, but at the same time I do not make comments on this BBS that put my level of education in question.

so because i think the quran is a worthless piece of garbage that teahces hate and killing, my level of education comes into question?

u should ask that question of adeel....the fact that he didnt think that this thread would draw much negative attention is pretty "uneducated" in my opinion.
