My father has a lime tree. It takes 3-5 years to produce any limes.
    I love limeade! [IMG]
Oh, and it gets about 8 feet tall.

My mother in law has a lemon tree in a pot that produces. She lives in Louisiana, which basically the same region we're in.

My neighbors have a tangerine tree that produces like mad!!

I think they'll do fine, good luck.

Limeade's on ROXRAN in a few years... hehe

I have a lemon and a lime bush/tree. Don't keep them close toghether unless you want Limeade! You can buy them at Lowes/HD for about $8-16 depending on gallon bucket. I live in Round Rock (Austin) and they did well here last year...acutally had fruit production, but knocked it off so the plant would use all it could to grow bigger year instead of producing in the first year. They did well, but had to cover them very well and water during the winter. A little harsher in the hills...I guess. My grandpa used to have a huge lime bush at his house in Belaire.
